Hailing from the Great Plains of Kansas, Chase Fortune is a young indie folk artist with a knack for combining odd instruments and melodies to create a twist on the singer/songwriter sound. Chase’s unique one-man act combines Australian instrument, the didgeridoo, with acoustic guitar, percussion, and vocal harmonies, all mixed through a small loop station. His sound combines everything from the folksy rhythms of the Midwest to the light-hearted beachside pop, all infused with a trace of world music one could only achieve through travel and experience.

During his college years, Chase won several music competitions and awards. Anytime not in class was spent on the road playing or in the studio refining his sound. Whether it’s packed concert venues or local bars, Chase’s unique sound and live act has always drawn the attention of audiences.

From the age of ten, Chase has been immersed in the music scene. Growing up, he spent most of his free time performing in his family band. During this time, Chase was exposed to a multitude of musical inspiration, ranging from the sounds of Fleetwood Mac to Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.

Chase’s latest album, Poison in the Well, is a work of passion, cultivated through several years of refinement and influenced heavily by his travels and experiences. The album bridges trials of depression, love, loss, lust, and social commentary. Although Poison in the Well is still ‘undiscovered,’ it has already gained some attention from the music community and agencies alike.

Currently, Chase is touring the national college circuit, promoting his music and activist causes. To learn more about the Chase Fortune and his sound, visit www.chasefortune.com.
